A payment schedule the client can see coming
Set out what's due and when: a deposit, a balance, an instalment plan. Each is set against the trip itself. A request emails the client the amount and due date, and includes a working 'Pay now' link the moment your agency has Stripe connected.

A schedule, not a memory of what was agreed
Each payment on a trip has its own label, amount, currency and due date, sitting in order alongside the others. Its status moves on its own as due dates pass: scheduled, due, overdue, paid. The trip's money position is never something you have to reconstruct from an email thread.
Requests that work before Stripe is even connected
Send a payment request and your client gets an email naming the amount and the due date. That much works with no payment processor configured at all. Connect Stripe and the same request gains a working checkout link, so 'send the request' and 'take the payment' don't have to be two different systems.
Stripe Connect, set up from your own settings
Connecting Stripe is a short onboarding flow started from your agency's payment settings. You're redirected to Stripe's own hosted onboarding, and back once it's done. Nothing about your Stripe account or its credentials passes through anywhere else.
Card authorisation, honestly described
A card authorisation form is signed like any other document in Waypoints Sign, with the same one-time-code verification. Card capture itself depends on your agency having a vault connected: once it is, the client enters their card through that vault's own hosted form, which never touches WaypointsX's servers. Every time a stored card is viewed, reveal attempted or not, it's logged: who requested it, when, and why. That log exists as a compliance record regardless of whether a vault is connected yet.
